You've been the only thing that's right, in a lifetime.

Why hello there strangers!
How are you all?
Blogging has not been at the top of my priority list of late, I've been overwhelmed to say the least.
My new life has begun. I have moved away from home, nearly 200 miles away. I'm at University now and have absorbed myself in all that it entails.
I study Fashion with Photography in Southampton and, cliched as it may sound but I am truly loving it. I've met new people, tried new things, worn different clothes, kissed a couple of frogs (still no prince to be found) and generally lived life, holding on to each new day.
I'm stuffing myself with photographic theory, beautiful images, new names, voices, dialects, tastes and experiences.
I feel exhausted, shattered, crazily happy, insanely creative and productive. I'm using mixed media, speaking to highly intelligent people & generally making a name for myself.
I work hard and play harder. & I have never laughed so much over so little.
Today's post - my mouth. For my self portrait.

The sounds that swallows me whole.

Hey sensation seekers;
Reading this months British Vogue seriously made me ill. Well sort of. They did a piece on the Sartorialist & it made me sick as a pig. Seriously, It made me envious and earn for my life to start so I can achieve things like he has. I feel so uninspired living here at the moment. Maybe its because I can see my future, almost taste my future new life and can't wait for it to start. My life feels like its on hold right now. Anyway, enough melodrama for today. How are your summer holidays going? I hope they are filled with fun and laughter,

Everyone has a suitcase full of faces for the world.

Hey there sensation seekers.
I know long time in-between posts atm. Saying I've been super buy would be a big fat lie, but I have been lazing about crafting, beading etc etc. I'm currently in the process of making a bag. Not a mag bag, like a proper bag. 2.55 inspired. I'm super excited. :)
What have you been doing recently?

Home is where I hang my hat.

Salut Sensation seekers,
I have returned! I'm back from my week in LDN and am now recovering from some crazy times! We booked a little impromptu over night trip to Paris in the middle of the week which was really exciting & quite intense. We saw loads, and walked miles and just soaked up the atmosphere. We also managed to fit in trips to the V&A museum whilst in London which was so fantastically magical.
After the rush of Paris, I popped to the seaside at Brighton for the day, to visit a relative. The sky was blue, the beach pebbly, and the fish and chips fantastic!
So I am now home, hopelessly trying to unpack my suitcase, but I keep getting distracted by my novel "A Simple Act of Violence" by R. J Ellory, a simply fantastic read!
Today's picture post - piles & piles of books from the Shakespeare book shop on Paris' left bank. & Little snippets of truths from the "truth wall" they have there - Divine!

Parasols and plimsolls.

Ahoy sensation seekers,
Whenever you're in school and its coming to end of the term, you often find yourself wistfully starring out of the window, watching the trees flush with leaves, flowers in bloom and grass happily springy. Then the summer finally arrives, and you're finally free for the long hot summer.
The thing about living where I live, the term "long-hot-summer" doesn't really apply. I'm afraid the closest thing we to summer is the postcard that next door sends us from their two weeks holiday to Grand Canaria.
Its not all that bad really, just rainy. & the rain can make you miserable.
So instead of bracing the outside today, I'm packing for LDN. Well laying everything out on the floor and seeing what goes with what. I am a precision packer. If I could pack two weeks before I would, seriously.
Today's picture post reminds me of sunnier climes and fantastic vacation times. A baguette holding little boy with his Papa, Paris.

Just floating through the blue lagoon.

Hello hello sensation seekers,
I know i know I've been neglecting the blogging world - apologies.
I've been feeling a bit uninspired of late. I don't know why I just have. I have been crafting a lot recently. Making bib necklaces and also a secret gift for S who's party is on Saturday.
But I won't be staying out late, oh no, I'm off to LDN, (that's London for all you's not up-to-date on your abbreviations) on Sunday. Am staying with a friend for a few days. Lots of museum trips, shopping trips and a mid-week trip to the seaside, Brighton to be precise. Now that I am looking forward to, LDN&Brighton.
Well I must go, sleep drool isn't good for computer keyboards.
